The YWCA NETN & SWVA is teaming up with Tennesseans for Quality Early Education for the Loud Voices for Little Kids campaign driven by advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, early educators, business leaders, parents and concerned citizens dedicated to advancing children's success in the early years - which studies show leads to greater success later in life. We aim to educate Tennesseans about early care and education policy priorities.
The TQEE’s policy priorities include:
  • Strengthening early literacy supports
  • Nurturing physical and mental health from birth
  • Increasing access to quality and affordable childcare
  • Making high-quality pre-K an option for more Tennessee families
  • Empowering parents and families
“The YWCA has been a voice for vulnerable women and children in our region for almost 80 years. We are delighted to now be partnering with TQEE to advocate for quality affordable education for young children across the state.  The “Loud Voices for Little Kids “campaign provides us all the opportunity to speak up and make a difference. ” – YWCA CEO, Kathy Waugh
We hope you’ll join us and organizations across the state in this important work by visiting tqee.org/loudvoices. There you can:
