AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE

There are few things more important to parents than knowing their little one is safe and well-cared for when they are working or at school. YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia is proud to provide families in our area top-notch affordable childcare with fees on a sliding scale based on household income. Since 1987, we have been serving this critical need and are licensed by the State of Tennessee. The Children’s Center received the highest quality rating (3 Stars) in the TN Star Quality Program consecutively from 2000 – 2023. A new quality ranking implemented by the State of TN in 2024, QRIS (Quality Rating Improvement System), continued the excellence for the center with an overall score of 99 out of 100.

• Developmentally appropriate classrooms and indoor/outdoor play areas.
• Serves children aged 6-weeks to Pre-K, 5 days per week, year-round.
• Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Secure facility with video monitoring.
• Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack served to children 6 weeks of age and above.
• Lesson plans created for each classroom using developmentally appropriate practice and TN Early Learning Developmental Standards.
• A reduced fee will be available to any child whose household income meets qualifying guidelines.
