Position: After school Assistant

This part time afternoon/evening position will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementing of a successful afterschool empowerment program for girls in accordance with the policies and mission of the organization through direct interaction and supervision of afterschool participants.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate Degree or two (2) years experience working with elementary or middle school youth grades 4th through 8th.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with Tennessee Department of Education requirements.
  • Possess or willing to obtain upon hire: CPR and First Aid Certification as well as F Endorsement driver’s license

Position: Bridal Consultant

Description – The Bridal Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of the Bristol Bridal Station to achieve organizational goals and objectives as defined by the Board of Directors. The Bridal Consultant is expected to provide exceptional customer service to all customers of the salon as well as managing the condition of the facility and inventory.

Location – Bristol Bridal Station, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620

Schedule – This is a part position with limited benefits, scheduled 15-25 hours per week. Potential scheduled work hours, Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be have a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of retail management experience. Two (2) years of bridal sales experience, volunteer management or nonprofit experience are preferred

YWCA Children’s Center

 Full Time Position - Lead Educator

The Lead Educator is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to maintain age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.

Schedule – This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.

The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for the general supervision of the nutrition program and other related food services of the Wellmont Child Development Center, and the custodial services necessary to maintaining the kitchen in a safe and presentable condition.

 Description – The Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being and the supervision of his/her assigned group of children.

Location – Wellmont Child Development Center, 281 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN 37620

Schedule – This is a seasonal temporary position, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work hours beginning in May, at the conclusion of the school year running through August, beginning of school year. Day shift, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or degree in related field and 2 years of experience childcare or school age care.
