Marketing and Digital Administrator

The Marketing and Digital Administrator is responsible for managing the public relations aspect of the organization, creating, implementing and overseeing communications with the membership, volunteers, staff community, media and various stakeholders. This position will also develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the various programs of the YWCA as well as manage all digital marketing platforms and social media for the organization. This position is responsible for supervising and working collaboratively with the Communications Associate.

Location – YWCA NETN and SWVA, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN

Schedule – We are open to filling this position as either part time with limited benefits, scheduled 25 hours per week, or full time with benefits and scheduled 35-40 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend work for training sessions, meetings or events may be required.

Education/Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic design, communication, business administration, nonprofit management or related degree. Five (5) years of experience working with marketing and/or communications.

Advocacy Program Victim Advocate

Advocates will provide direct services to victims on a case by case basis and as appropriate. Services may include providing information, emotional support, identifying and connecting the individual to additional resources and assisting them in completing all necessary paperwork as well as attending Court, medical appointments, or interviews with victims. This position will be required to staff crisis hotlines, lead support groups, or provide in-person coaching when needed. The Advocate will work closely with organizations such as Criminal Justice or Social Services agencies.

Location –Sullivan County, Tennessee

Schedule –This is a grant funded, full time, salaried position with benefits.

Education/Experience – Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Education, Psychology or related field. Advocate will be required to complete significant additional ongoing training on the specific knowledge and skills required to be an advocate. Bilingual (Spanish speaking, highly desired)

Social Enterprise Business Manager

The YWCA is seeking a motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The Social Enterprise Business Manager provides administrative oversight to all existing and future YWCA social enterprise endeavors. Currently, the Social Enterprise Business Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and promotion of the YWCA Women’s Health and Safety, the Bristol Bridal Station and the Bristol Train Station ensuring that organizational goals and objectives as defined by the Board of Directors are achieved.

Four (4) years of experience in business and/or program management. Two (2) years of retail management or small business experience preferred.

Corporate Relations Manager

The Corporate Relations Manager will support the development program with a focus on corporation giving. The fundraising program’s growth will provide natural opportunities to build and cultivate sponsors for the organization. The position will manage the YWCA NETN and SWVA’s relationships and work in conjunction with the CEO to create the best strategy for each company given their philanthropic mission.

Schedule – This is a part time position with limited benefits, scheduled 25 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend work for training sessions, meetings or events may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Non Profit and/or Public Administration or related field. Four (4) years of relative focused experience in areas of administrative fund-raising and relationship building. Four (4) years of experience in managing volunteers as part of a development program.

After school Educational Assistant

This part time afternoon/evening position will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementing of a successful afterschool empowerment program for girls in accordance with the policies and mission of the organization through direct interaction and supervision of afterschool participants.

Education/Experience

  • Associate Degree or two (2) years experience working with elementary or middle school youth grades 4th through 8th.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with Tennessee Department of Education requirements.
  • Possess or willing to obtain upon hire: CPR and First Aid Certification as well as F Endorsement driver’s license

YWCA Children’s Center

Lead Educator

The Lead Educator is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to maintain age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.

Schedule – This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.
