Teen Pregnancy Program Coordinator

Description – The Teen Pregnancy Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, coordination, daily operations and service implementation and delivery of the teen pregnancy education and support program in Johnson County, Tennessee and a portion of Washington County, Virginia.

Location –YWCA NETN and SWVA, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620

Education/Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or other relevant field or equivalent experience. Two (2) years of experience working with at risk youth and/or maternity and newborn care.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Teen pregnancy program implementation and management
  • Advocacy support and case management
  • Education and community outreach

Educational Assistants – Childcare 6 weeks to 5 years of age

Description - The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to assist the Lead Educator in maintaining age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.

Location – YWCA Children’s Center, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620

Schedule – Full and part time positions. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Experience preferred but not required.

Educational Assistant – Afterschool 9 to 12 years of age

Description

The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care.

Schedule

Childcare has both full and part time positions available, flexible schedules that are great for students. Scheduled shifts Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:15 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Afterschool has part time positions available 25 hours per week. Schedule 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Education/Experience

Qualified childcare applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualified afterschool applicants must be 21 years of age, have a clean driving record and be willing to obtain F endorsement driver’s license.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of experience caring for infants in a licensed center.
