Bridal Consultant

Description – The Bridal Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of the Bristol Bridal Station to achieve organizational goals and objectives as defined by the Board of Directors. The Bridal Consultant is expected to provide exceptional customer service to all customers of the salon as well as managing the condition of the facility and inventory.

Location – Bristol Bridal Station, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620

Schedule – This is a part position with limited benefits, scheduled 15-25 hours per week. Potential scheduled work hours, Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be have a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of retail management experience. Two (2) years of bridal sales experience, volunteer management or nonprofit experience preferred

Capital Campaign Manager

Description – The Capital Campaign Manager working under the direction of the YWCA NETN and SWVA, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Capital Campaign Chair (CCC), the Capital Campaign Manager will collaborate with the outside Campaign Consultant and coordinate all aspects of a fundraising campaign that supports financing the expansion of the current YWCA facility and programs in 2021.

Location –YWCA NETN and SWVA, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620

Education/Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. A minimum of two (2) years in event planning, project management, fundraising, communications, marketing or similar functions, preferably in a non-profit setting. Experience securing or supporting work around corporate interactions. Proficiency in MS Office required.

Knowledge, Skill, Talents & Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Interest in theatre or performing arts
  • Team oriented and able to work independently
  • Diplomatic and confident; able to maintain good relationships with donors while enforcing expectations and requirements

Corporate Relations Manager

The Corporate Relations Manager will support the development program with a focus on corporation giving. The fundraising program’s growth will provide natural opportunities to build and cultivate sponsors for the organization. The position will manage the YWCA NETN and SWVA’s relationships and work in conjunction with the CEO to create the best strategy for each company given their philanthropic mission.

Location – YWCA NETN and SWVA, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN 37620

Schedule – This is a part time position with limited benefits, scheduled 25 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend work for training sessions, meetings or events may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Non Profit and/or Public Administration or related field. Four (4) years of relative focused experience in areas of administrative fund-raising and relationship building. Four (4) years of experience in managing volunteers as part of a development program.

After school Educational Assistant

This part time afternoon/evening position will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementing of a successful afterschool empowerment program for girls in accordance with the policies and mission of the organization through direct interaction and supervision of afterschool participants.

Education/Experience

  • Associate Degree or two (2) years experience working with elementary or middle school youth grades 4th through 8th.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with Tennessee Department of Education requirements.
  • Possess or willing to obtain upon hire: CPR and First Aid Certification as well as F Endorsement driver’s license

YWCA Children’s Center

Lead Educator

The Lead Educator is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to maintain age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.

Schedule – This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.
