Lead Educator - 6 weeks to 5 year of age
Description - The Lead Educator is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to maintain age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.
Location – YWCA Children’s Center, 106 State Street, Bristol, TN
Schedule – This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.
Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of experience in a licensed center preferred.

Educational Assistant – 6 weeks to 5 years of age
Description - The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to assist the Lead Educator in maintaining age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards for child care.
Schedule – Full Time is 35-40 hours per week. Part time positions available are less than 25 hours per week. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The part time positions currently available are primarily between 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available as needed. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.
Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements - Must possess valid driver's license. YWCA is a drug free workplace. All employees must avoid illegal substances.
