Position:  Event Administrator and Executive Assistant

Description - The Event Administrator and Executive Assistant plays a vital role in assisting and anticipating the needs of the CEO and organization. This position provides critical administrative support to a dynamic and fast paced team, with the opportunity to engage in a variety of exciting and substantive projects. This position is also coordinates and provides support for organizational events.

 Location – YWCA NETN and SWVA, 106 State Street and Volunteer Parkway office, Bristol, TN

Schedule – This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Scheduled work week, Monday through Friday. Some evening and weekend shifts are possible for meetings, events and trainings.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, non-profit management or related field. Two (2) years of experience working with event planning and volunteer management.

Position: After school Educational Assistant

This part time afternoon/evening position will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementing of a successful afterschool empowerment program for girls in accordance with the policies and mission of the organization through direct interaction and supervision of afterschool participants.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate Degree or two (2) years experience working with elementary or middle school youth grades 4th through 8th.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with Tennessee Department of Education requirements.
  • Possess or willing to obtain upon hire: CPR and First Aid Certification as well as F Endorsement driver’s license

YWCA Children’s Center

 Full Time Position - Lead Educator

The Lead Educator is responsible for ensuring the physical, mental, emotional and social well-being of the children in their care. The individual is expected to maintain age appropriate classroom environment, lesson plans and activities that meet State of Tennessee Licensure Rules and Star Quality standards.

Schedule – This is a full time position with benefits, scheduled 40 hours per week. Potential work hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend training sessions may be required.

Education/Experience – Qualified applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA or Degree in related field and two (2) years of childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.
