Easy Peasy Pastry Event
Last spring, we held a fundraiser selling Butter Braid Pastries to purchase materials for our child care classes. It was such a successful fundraiser and we received amazing feedback, we just had to do it again! From November 29th, until Friday, December 10th, you can order pastries that taste like you spent hours baking! Butter Braid pastries are braided by hand and come frozen to you. These are perfect for those cold mornings, or to warm up a chilly night. Choose from Apple, Blueberry, Cinnamon, Four Cheese and Herb, Strawberry, Raspberry, and Cinnamon Rolls. Each pastry (or rolls) is $15. These will be perfect for Christmas morning or any time you need a quick delicious treat!
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward our Child Care Services. Use the form and choose the quantity of pastries you’d like and type in the flavors in the comment box.
Pick up will be available on Wednesday, December 22nd at
- YWCA on State Street from 11:00am - 5:00pm
- Wellmont Child Development Center from 11:00am - 4:00pm

Help Child Care Services
Throughout the pandemic, we have been able to serve 194 families in our child care facilities and have remained open at a reduced capacity following CDC guideline recommendations. We have maintained a 3 star quality rating which is the highest star awarded by the Tennessee Department of Human Services and have served remote learning and school aged students in 5 school systems.
