Stand Against Racism

The YWCA calls all individuals to join us in taking a Stand Against Racism between Thursday, April 25, and Sunday, April 28. Stand Against Racism will unite our community along with communities across the nation in a bold demonstration that delivers a clear message: we are on a mission to eliminate racism. From Thursday through Sunday, taking The Pledge events are anticipated in nearly every state across the country including engagement in public policy and advocacy, community education, and public proclamations.

Participants in YWCA’s Stand Against Racism range from schoolchildren to elected officials, from owners of small businesses to church leaders, and many others. To MAKE THE PLEDGE or schedule your own event visit www.StandAgainstRacism.org.

“It is very important for us to take the Stand Against Racism Pledge together to show our commitment to creating change and elevate the discussion about racism in our community,” Tammy Alls, Director of Mission Advancement.
