MEET THE NEED:

A Collaborative SUD Recovery Support Symposium

Last fall, YWCA NETN and SWVA was awarded a 2022 INSPIRE Initiative grant by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to fund a community needs assessment through Virginia Tech’s Center for Economic and Community Engagement. This study was specific to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) recovery wraparound services, gaps, and networking capacity in our region.

We invite you to attend this symposium to hear about the results of the needs assessment and to engage in cross-sector discussions regarding program and networking opportunities for all of us committed to individual and family resiliency, workforce development and support, and other key determinants of health and wellness as they relate to SUD recovery support services. Our goal is to provide us all with insights, information, and contacts that will serve us for future planning and collaboration.

Join us as we work together to assist our region’s growing SUD recovery support needs!
